Join us for an amazing night of worshiping, celebrating, and mission. July 6, 2013 we welcome Jeremy Camp, opened by Big Daddy Weave, with festival kicking off (order to be determined) to the energy of White Ribbon Day, Zach Svoboda, and Bob Colquhoun and No Longer Bound at Veterans Memorial stadium in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Doors will open at 3:00PM concert begins at 3:45PM with fireworks at approximately 10:30PM. We will be conducting a food drive for local food banks and have a mission focus on the Wounded Warrior Project. We hope that you will be able to join together with us as we celebrate and work together to build God’s Kingdom!
2012 Praise In The Park Iowa

2012 was an amazing experience, thank you for your generous support of the Praise in the Park Iowa event featuring MercyMe, along with Bobby Colquhoun and No Longer Bound. God opened so many doors and blessed the event on ways even we may never know.
There were over 4500 people in attendance that evening, some who had never before heard the good news. 180 people registered for the Bone Marrow Drive, 23 for the Blood Drive and we were able to collect over 8000 pounds of food for local food banks. The 8 members of the Christ Presbyterian Youth Group alone collected a whopping 1100 pounds of food.
There were countless number of volunteers to do everything from security, stage building, and ticket taking to merchandising, manning the drive booths, and prayer teams. Some volunteers building stage in 95 degree weather, laying flooring in the rain or even working till 5:00 a.m. on the tear down crew. God blessed us with exactly what we needed from beginning to end.

We are pleased to say that between our sponsors, donors and ticket sales, the concert was 100% paid. No one on the Board of Directors has received any monetary compensation, but God’s blessings to us have been many. Now that we have had a chance to breathe and reflect, we are getting ready for a new concert this year. We are hoping to raise half the cost in donations and sponsors.
The guys from MercyMe were amazing, weren’t they? Bart said they were very pleased with the venue and the reception from the concert goers; and would love to return in future years.
Thank you for sharing God’s Spirit, volunteering, and a for sponsoring and gifting God’s concert - and it is His, as our efforts alone would never have been enough. Your donation/sponsorship helped Him feed the almost 5000. Bless you in your journey, and we hope to see you at this years event.

We could not have done it last year without the AMAZING people that God provided. We have listened to feedback from last year and have added additional options in an effort to improve. Blankets will be allowed on the field. A section of seats has been set aside for assigned seating, the Kernels new SUPER LARGE hi def vieo board installed in 2013 will be used for stage close ups, and we are adding large video monitors in the infield.
Grand Slam Donors may choose to receive a Skybox Suite with catering and a visit from the bands including headliners for their group as a thank you. Please contact us at (319) 981-5654 for details and availability. Skybox Suites include 25 admission tickets to the stadium for access to the skybox. You will also receive 2 catered servings during the festival. Performers will visit skyboxes for a short autograph and photo opporunity.
Parking in stadium lot is free.
